Long Term Care
If long term care is needed, creating a family and homelike setting is one of our biggest concerns after medical attention. Residents here form a second, extended community and even the staff takes an active role in their lives. Should your family wish to hold a special birthday or anniversary dinner here, we have a private dining room dedicated to just those types of events. Creating a home setting is only part of the picture.

Ventilation Therapy
Hillcrest's dedicated ventilator wing presents a team approach to care. By adjusting medicines, oxygen levels, breathing techniques and exercise into a cohesive plan, we've found that most patients can stabilize and return to ventilator-free living sooner. This extra level of attention, including the routine pulmonologist rounds in the unit, has improved the odds of recovery dramatically.

Behavioral Program
Hillcrest Commons has a unit dedicated to residents requiring a secure unit. The staff are trained to care for residents with psychiatric and chronic behavioral conditions. Our residents are treated with respect with therapeutic goals maintaining their mental and physical health in a safe and pleasant environment. Rounding clinical nurse specialists and continual activity programming highlight the support giving these residents the quality of life they deserve.

Bariatric Program
This Hillcrest Commons program is aimed at overweight residents who are unsuccessful in conventional weight programs. The goal is weight loss with the support of a dietician and program manager focusing on education and menu selections in a structured environment. Exercise and group activities highlight the quality of life and added help in the quest for individualized goals. Residents whose goal is gastric bypass surgery also participate in the program. We enjoy a relationship with local hospitals with whom we partner to ensure successful outcomes.

Alzheimer's Unit
Our 25-bed Alzheimer's unit ensures resident safety and quality of life. The intimate unit size with abundant activities programming and trained staff contribute to each resident's quality of life. Support groups and family meetings help complete this community where everyone benefits.
